What becomes possible when women writers return to the page—together?
Inspired by Julia Cameron’s Finding Water, The Writing Well is a twelve-week online workshop for women writers ready to generate new pages, develop work already underway, and build a creative practice that can hold up against doubt, distraction, and everyday life. Whether you’re a longtime devotee of The Artist’s Way or entirely new to its practices, this workshop meets you where you are—especially if your morning pages have gone quiet, or you feel the pull to create but aren’t sure where to begin.
Each 90-minute gathering opens with a brief writing exercise and community check-in, moves into reflection on the week’s theme, and closes with thoughtful, writer-centered feedback. Bring your fiction, creative nonfiction, memoir, or book-length project—or come ready to discover what you want to write next. No MFA or publication history required. Just the willingness to show up.
The Writing Well meets live online on Wednesdays, September 2 through November 18, 2026. Enrollment is limited to 8–10 writers to keep the circle intimate. Founding-cohort tuition is $325, with an early-bird rate of $275. Participants will need their own copy of Julia Cameron’s Finding Water.
Bring your questions. Bring your unfinished pages. Bring the story you haven’t written yet.
Come to the well.
We don’t want finances to be the reason that stops you from coming to the well. A limited number of tuition assistance scholarships are available—reach out to learn more.
