Anna Cavouras
Anna Cavouras is a writer and reader from the west coast. She is drawn to unusual stories informed by her own experience as a person with a disability. Currently, she is writing a novel about feminist tattoo artists in the future and a non-fiction book on the complicated relationship between humans and nature.
Anna is a former writer-in-residence with Firefly Creative Writing, a judge with Reedsy Prompts and a member of the non-fiction cohort at The Writers Studio at Simon Fraser University. You can read her non-fiction work in Boneyard Soup Magazine, Studio Magazine of Art and Design, (M)Othering Anthology, and with the League of Canadian Poets.
She is honoured to be a part of Minerva Rising as the assistant non-fiction editor and believes that every story opens the door a little wider to our collective humanity.
You can find her walking around somewhere with her feminist agenda tucked in her bag.
