Linda Petrucelli

For most of her adult life, Linda Petrucelli has lived on islands—Taiwan, Manhattan, and the Big Island of Hawaii. Being close to the ocean suits her as she walks the beach and collects found objects. She lives in a tin-roofed rancher overlooking the ʻAlenuihāhā Channel, a fierce stretch of Pacific Ocean, where she writes, reads, and cares for rescue animals.

Her Creative Nonfiction has appeared in numerous literary journals including Barren, Cagibi, The Twin Bill, Longridge Review, Permafrost, and elsewhere. Linda’s essays have earned Pushcart and Best of the Net nominations. She is currently hard at work editing her memoir about learning to speak Taiwanese.
