This has been a circularly beautiful night.
We parked in the power plant and
Jesus and Mary were waiting for us, so close.
Switching gas stations, red light district leather,
full of love for the ways that you lie.
Soon I would be at home, burning the cozy room
I will burn fall down to the wick.
Next time I love you will be tomorrow
and I’m so grateful for that.
We dance fast down dangerous streets, the light hasn’t yet turned on or off
S&M blasting fast and hard on the top floor but she still wants me
to turn it up.
Steam rising from the streets, sticking to her windows
Her voice is so much more beautiful than she says
She’ll tell you her voice is not that good in the goddamn voice of angels.
That’s her.
Runaway angel speeding home to God.
Close to entering the church,
she wants to be a nun.
I beg her for one more loud night.
Voluptuous streams of smoke in the sky
Tonight is heavy and important, tonight is viscous
She is sweet escape on a Monday night
I wanna get away with you
Far, far away from here.
Betray me once, shame on me,
Betray me three times and I’m all yours.
