It was 50 degrees in Chicago two days ago–not exactly beach weather, but a heat wave by our winter standards. Today the low will be 3 degrees, not including a below zero windchill. Brrrrr!
I admit that we’ve had a mild winter and it’s a little early in the season to be thinking about spring let alone summer. But, I can’t help dreaming of heat and sand and margaritas on the beach. Until I’m able to sit on this beach and look at the Gulf of Mexico again, this photo will have to do. Bundle up everyone.
oh yeah!
It’s temperate in Oaxaca, Mexico, where we hold the Oaxaca Women’s Creative Writing and Yoga Retreat, March 8-16. Temperatures rise to mid-70’s F. during the day and nights are a not-too-chilly 45-50 F. which makes it perfect for sleeping. Come join us: http://oaxacaculture.com
