SWIM

I found my femininity with him inside of me
I was unfamiliar with the skin beneath the tuft of thick hair, that spiral flower
And the triangle it forms between my legs

I let it grow long like a jungle
Leaves cowering and vines twisting

I keep this flower
Not to hide
But to remind myself

Of that soft skin
While he kisses me like water
Kisses the crest of the shore

My femininity grows like a wave as he glides in the tide beneath me
My body ashamed no longer

I swim
