Words transport us—across the country, around the globe, and into our backyards, air ripe with the hot scent of lilac in the summer. As writers, a single scratch of a sentence across a page takes our readers wherever we choose. They join us for a short journey, the scene set by detailed descriptions and evocative imagery.
When we travel, our awareness changes. Each step away from home grants us a new understanding of ourselves, those around us, and the world in general. Join us for an hour-long generative travel writing workshop. Let’s figure out how to translate our travel experiences into stories that bring us closer together.
